Weaving Texas Bread In Post

Tauihu Media's latest short film Weaving Texas Bread is now in post production.
It stars rising Maori actors Ngahuia Piripi and Rawiri Pene.
Helmed by Poata Eruera and produced by Tauihu Media principal Tui Ruwhiu and Eruera, Weaving Texas Bread is an Aho Shorts film via the guild for Maori in film and TV, Nga Aho Whakaari, funded by the New Zealand Film Commission.
The story orignates from Hokianga writers Marie Thompson and Wayne Te Tai. It tells the tale of a young woman who must choose between her traditional spiritual beliefs and her love and his devout Christian faith.
The film was shot across three days by two DPs, Dave Garbett and Andrew McGeorge, using Sony's latest 4K camera, the F65.
Delivery is end of May with a distribution focus on national and international film festivals.
